Men and women at Christ Church Cathedral Ottawa have participated in their parish Festive Market and Teas on the last Saturday in November for the last two years. They have made pies and soups in the fall and marmalade in the spring. Judith Dowler, coordinator of these events, and Nicholas Galambos, who makes the Christmas cake, jams, jellies and chutneys that are sold, presented a cheque of $16,000 to the Rev. Victoria Scott, director general of Anglican Community Ministries in June.
