What a joy to see the mountain of doves made by volunteers throughout the diocese getting ready to take flight! Although the project exceeded its objectives in terms of the number of doves and fundraising — with about $15,000 donated to support the diocese’s refugee ministry — the milestone we’ve all been waiting for is having the chance to see them inside the Cathedral! It’s a year later than planned due to the pandemic, but the doves will finally bring their symbolic presence to Pentecost and beyond. Very grateful to all the talented dove-makers and the donors!
