St. James, Manotick has hosted multiple events throughout this year to celebrate its 150th anniversary.
In June, the “Over the Decades” themed High Tea at St. James was a fun, well-attended event. Décor included displays of clothing and pieces from the late 1800s onwards that brought back nostalgic memories.
The parish also participated in Doors Open Ottawa during Manotick’s Dickinson Days weekend. They welcomed visitors to tour St. James and showcased displays of the church through the seasons as well as a historical timeline with photos past and present.
Parishioners are looking forward to gathering for a catered anniversary dinner on Dec. 4.
