Children and youth from St. Margaret's parish enjoyed a trip to the National Gallery of Canada in late November. They spent some time experimenting with collage techniques inspired by the Riopelle exhibit. The highlight of the trip was visiting the Inuit art exhibit since some of the youth are members of the St. Margaret's Inuit congregation. One of the carvings on display was created by Davidee Ningeoak, the grandfather of Alasie Ningeok, who stopped to admire her grandfather's art with her father, Poasie Joomie.
