As the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) celebrated its 40th anniversary, executive director Leigh Couture thanked Christ Church Bells Corners for 25 years of partnership.

“What began with providing office space in their old rectory for our community support services team has evolved into remarkable collaborations, including the development of Hollyer House, which combines affordable housing with vital community services offered by our team and other partners, like the FAMSAC Food Cupboard,” she said. “Together, we have hosted fun and accessible events for the community, including a recent Indigenous Day celebration, community meals, and an annual ‘Trick or Trunk’ event … to name a few….Our collaborations have allowed us to create positive moments of connection and care for our community.”
